Western Sweden University

Located in western Sweden, Western Sweden University was founded in 1990 with campuses in the cities of Trollatan, Uddevalla and Vinashborg. It is a merger of Trollatan College and Uddevalla College, and was officially renamed in January 2006 as Western Sweden University. The city of Trollatan is the base of the Swedish automobile and aviation industry, with the world-famous Saab and Volvo car companies. In addition, it is also a movie base, where many famous movie stars such as Nick Kidman have filmed their movies. And Uddevalla Valla is Sweden's IT center and shipbuilding center. Vinashborg is also known as the little Paris of Sweden.
