Southern Methodist University, also known as Southern Methodist University, was founded in 1911 by the Methodist Church in the United States and is located in Dallas, TX, where it has five colleges, including the COX School of Business and the School of Law. It is ranked 60th in the 2024 USNEWS National Composite University Rankings, alongside the University of Georgia.
