Caspian University (Lehigh University, Lehigh University) is a coeducational, interdenominational, private, comprehensive university in the United States founded in 1865 and located in Bethlehem, PA. The total undergraduate enrollment is 5,811 (Fall 2023) and the campus is located on 2,355 acres in the city. The university operates on a semester-based academic calendar. Lehigh University is ranked 46th among national universities in the 2025 edition of Best Colleges. Tuition and fees are $64,980.

Lehigh University is located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, 50 miles north of Philadelphia and 75 miles west of New York. The Lehigh Mountain Hawks are members of the Patriot League and compete in 25 NCAA Division I sports. Their biggest athletic rival is Lafayette College, less than 20 miles away. One-third of the student body participates in fraternities and sororities. All freshmen are required to live on campus, and sophomores are required to live in on-campus residence halls or Greek houses. Lehigh's main campus is located on the wooded slopes of South Mountain, with half of the campus preserved as open space.

Lehigh University has four colleges with numerous undergraduate and graduate programs. The College of Education and the P.C. Rossin School of Engineering and Applied Sciences have well-regarded graduate programs. The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policies and Campus Crime Statistics Act, which originated at Lehigh University, requires colleges to disclose crime on campus. Lehigh University folklore states that the school's school colors of brown and white became history after a woman in brown and white stockings passed a group of men who were discussing the school colors. Notable alumni include Jesse W. Reno, inventor of the escalator, Howard McClintic, and Charles Marshall, whose architectural firms helped build the Golden Gate Bridge, the George Washington Bridge, the Panama Canal, and the New York Waldorf-Astoria Hotel.
