Emory University

Located near downtown Atlanta, Emory University is comprised of nine colleges, four of which serve undergraduate and graduate students. Emory's graduate programs include the highly ranked Goizueta Business School, the School of Law, and the School of Medicine. First- and second-year students are required to live on campus, but most students live on campus all four years. The Student Activities Board organizes events and performances throughout the year, including performances by well-known entertainers and musicians. The Emory Volunteer Association is a popular student organization that oversees community service activities. The Emory Eagles boast nearly 20 NCAA Division III varsity teams and are known for their successful swimming and diving teams. All students are required to take two physical education classes whether or not they participate in varsity sports. Emory also has a thriving Greek community.
