Utah State University, or USU for short, was founded in 1888 and is located in Logan, Utah, USA, 80 miles from Salt Lake City, the capital of Utah. It has grown from a small agricultural college to become a renowned university in the United States and internationally for its achievements in engineering. Utah State University is ranked among the top 100 engineering universities in the United States. Currently, under the leadership of President Stan Albrecht, it has 850 faculty and 23,000 undergraduate and graduate students. Five degree types are offered: undergraduate, master's, doctoral, associate's, and diploma programs.
