The National Academy of Engineering (National Academy of Engineering) is the highest academic organization for engineering in the United States, and one of the four National Academies (the other three are the National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Medicine, and the National Science Research Council). The Academy is a private, not-for-profit engineering academic society. The three highest awards in engineering in the United States (the Russ Prize, the Gordon Prize, and the Charles Stark Draper Prize) are awarded by the Academy.
