Israel Educational Television

Israel Education TV (Hebrew: הטלוויזיה החינוכית הישראלית) is Israel's premier educational media outlet offering television programs primarily for children and young adults, and was launched on March 24, 1966; in the 1870s and 1880s, the station's Channel 1 aired Israel's first children's program in the 1870s and 1880s; beginning in the late 1880s, the station began to launch corresponding television programs for adults and seniors.
