Ilmenau University of Technology

TU Ilmenau (Technische Universität Ilmenau) is a renowned German technical university founded in 1894 and located in the small forest town of Ilmenau, Thuringia, in the center of Germany, which is known as "the green heart of Germany", and it is the first German university recognized by the Ministry of Education in China. It is one of the first German universities recognized by the Ministry of Education in China. The university's computer science program is ranked among the top 5 in Germany; because of its long-term and in-depth cooperation with Porsche in the field of automotive technology, it is known as the "Porsche R&D Center".
