The Spanish news agency EFE is the largest Spanish news agency, a semi-official news agency, founded in 1939, formerly the Spanish Correspondents' Center, established in 1865, which provides information to subscribers all over the world in Spanish, French and English. EFE's head office is located in Madrid and it has branches in 170 cities in more than 100 countries, with 1,000 professional journalists, 2,000 correspondents and partners. More than 501 TP3T of news from Spain and almost 401 TP3T of international news from Latin America come from EFE.
