The Neue Zürcher Zeitung is a long-established German-language newspaper founded in 1780 and based in Zurich. It was originally called Zurich Zeitung and changed its name to the current one in 1821. The newspaper is specialized in reporting international political, economic and financial news, and has a wide influence in the German-speaking part of Europe.
