State University of New York

The State University of New York (SUNY) is a public university system in the U.S. state of New York, founded in 1948 and headquartered in Albany. The SUNY system is one of the largest higher education systems in the world, consisting of 64 schools with approximately 390,000 students, and members include such prestigious colleges and universities as Stony Brook and Binghamton.
