The Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy (ENSM Nancy), France's national university for engineers, was founded in 1919 to meet the needs of France's economic reconstruction after the One-Stop, and admits French and foreign students through the "Concours Mines-Ponts", or by selection on the basis of a four-year higher education diploma (second year).
