The Daily Telegraph, one of the largest circulating newspapers in the United Kingdom, was founded on June 29, 1855, as a sister publication to the Sunday Telegraph. At its inception, the newspaper was politically biased in favor of the Liberal Party, but is now biased in favor of the Conservative Party.
