The University of Liverpool (University of Liverpool) is a public research university in the United Kingdom, one of the six "Red Brick Universities" in the United Kingdom, and a founding member of the Russell Group of Universities. The University of Liverpool was founded in 1881 and gained university status in 1884. Liverpool has a high status in the academic field, and has trained the first British Nobel Prize winner Ronald Ross. The University of Liverpool was ranked 36th in the Times UK University Rankings 2014.
