Labor News

Labor News, the organ of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and published and distributed by the Labor News Agency, is the mainstream newspaper and media in North Korea. It was founded on November 1, 1945, and was initially called Vanguard Newspaper, also known as Jungro ("정로"). The newspaper mainly provides information on the social and political life of the DPRK for members of the Workers' Party of Korea, state cadres, workers, farmers and intellectuals.
