Deutsche Presse-Agentur (dapd) is Germany's second-largest news agency, founded in 1971 and headquartered in Bonn, which merged with the former GDR's Deutsche Presse-Agentur (DPA) after German reunification. Deutsche Presse-Agentur (DPA) has six branches, mainly providing press releases to domestic and foreign newspapers. Its international editorial office is based in London, and it has publishing stations in Zurich and London.
