Helsinki University of Technology (Teknillinen korkeakoulu) is Finland's oldest university of science and technology, founded in 1849, and one of the top polytechnics in Europe.In 2010, it merged with the Helsinki School of Economics and the University of Art and Design Helsinki to become Aalto University, renamed Aalto University School of Science and Technology.
