Gyeongsang National University (GNU), founded in 1948 as a major national university in Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do, Korea, is an institution of higher learning with a total area of more than 1,650,000 square meters consisting of three campuses, with more than 750 professors, 400 staff members, and 20,000 students. There are 12 specialized colleges, 8 graduate schools and 19 research institutes under the university.
