The University of Arkansas (UARK) is an American public university founded in 1871 and located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and is the flagship school of the University of Arkansas System. The University of Arkansas was ranked 129th in the 2016 U.S. News Comprehensive Rankings of American Universities.
