The University of Córdoba (Universidad de Córdoba) is a Spanish public university founded in 1972 and located in the city of Córdoba in the south of the country. It has eight faculties, including the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Philosophy and Literature, the Faculty of Law and Entrepreneurial Economics and the Faculty of Educational Sciences, as well as five colleges, including the Institute of Higher Technology for Agricultural and Mountain Engineering, the Institute of Higher Polytechnic Studies, the Polytechnic Institute of Belle Mez Belmez Polytechnic, Sacred Heart Teachers' College and Nursing College.
