University of Western Australia

The University of Western Australia (UWA) is one of the eight most prestigious universities in Australia and one of the six sandstone institutions, founded in 1911 and located in Perth, the capital of Western Australia. UWA has a high level of research and teaching in the fields of humanities and social sciences, electronic communications, information technology, and mineral extraction. The University of Western Australia is ranked 84th in the 2013 QS World University Rankings.
