The Namibian

The Namibian, Namibia's largest English-language daily newspaper, was founded in 1985 by Gwen Lister as a weekly newspaper, initially funded by donations from the community to promote Namibia's independence from South Africa; it was converted to a daily newspaper on April 1, 1989, and is published in English and Ndunga for the paper version, and in the website language of English. The site consists mainly of news, reviews, sports, business, entertainment, Ndunga, archives, mailboxes and other sections.
