University of Murcia

The University of Murcia (Universidad de Murcia), Spain's oldest institution of higher education, was officially founded in 1914, and its predecessor was founded in 1272. It has 16 departments, including the Faculty of Fine Arts, the Faculty of Biology, the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences, the Faculty of Work Sciences, and the Faculty of Communication and Archives Management, as well as five colleges, such as the Faculty of Nursing, the Faculty of Social Work, and the Faculty of Optics.
