The University of Milan (The University of Milan), is located in the heart of Milan, near the Duomo of Milan, the world's civilization. The University of Milan is the fourth largest university in Italy and consists of the faculties of Law, Art and Philosophy, Medicine and Physics, Mathematics and Natural Sciences. In the beginning, the university had only 1,419 students, which increased to 1,965 between 1928 and 1929, making the University of Milan the fourth largest university in Italy after Naples, Rome and Padua.In June 1998, the Second University of Milan was founded in Bicocca.It consists of the original two separate faculties: the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Law, and the Second Faculty of Medicine and the Second Faculty of Physics: Mathematics and Natural Sciences, and four new faculties: Psychology, Sociology and Statistics.
