University of Malmö

Malmö University (Malmo Hogskola in Swedish) is a public university in Malmö, southern Sweden. The university was founded in 1998 and is today the eighth largest undergraduate institution in Sweden. Malmö University is located in the center of Malmö and has played a major role in the city's transformation from an industrial city to a university town. Malmö University has three faculties: Culture and Society, Health and Society, and Dentistry, as well as a Faculty of Teacher Education and a Faculty of Technology. Malmö University strives to be a university that is open to the world; it transcends the boundaries of traditional teaching methods through a multidisciplinary approach to learning and enables students to cope with the ever-changing job market.
