The University of Lisbon (Portuguese: Universidade de Lisboa, English: University of Lisbon) is a Portuguese public university located in the capital city of Lisbon, founded in 1911 and merged with the Technical University of Lisbon in 2013, with more than 40,000 students (2013/2014).
