University of Quebec

One of the largest universities in Canada, the Université du Québec was established in 1968 by the Government of Québec as the largest educational network in Canada. Her mission is to popularize university education, promote science in Quebec and develop the regions of Quebec. Headquartered in Quebec City, Université du Québec has nine educational sub-institutes whose teaching activities extend to fifty-four cities in the province of Quebec. The University of Quebec has approximately 6,000 professors and teachers and 86,000 students. As the youngest university in Quebec, the University of Quebec is characterized by innovation, boldness, excellence in teaching and a spirit of openness to the world.
