Liberation (Oslobođenje), one of the most popular newspapers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, was founded as an anti-Nazi newspaper in 1943 in the city of Ugljevic, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The official website language is Bosnian. On January 6, 2014, Chinese Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Dong Chunfeng published an op-ed "Only by correctly treating history can we open up the future" in this newspaper and another mainstream media in Bosnia and Herzegovina, The Independent, criticizing Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's visit to the Yasukuni Shrine.
