The Christian Science Monitor is an American international daily newspaper founded in 1908 by Mary Baker Eddy, a founding member of the Church of Christ, and headquartered in Boston. Although named after Christ, it is not a religious newspaper, but a general news paper. The Christian Science Monitor's stories are mostly concise and focused on serious news, and it is especially famous for its international news coverage, having won the Pulitzer Prize for journalism seven times.
