The Hague University of the Netherlands (English: The Hague University of Applied Sciences, Dutch: De Haagse Hogeschool) is a university of applied sciences located in the city of The Hague, founded in 1987. The main campus is located in the center of The Hague, behind the Den Haag HS train station, in a new commercial and residential area, where more than 1,800 faculty members and 22,000 students (about 2,200 international) from nearly 150 countries and regions of the world come together. The university is one of the largest in the Netherlands, with a wide range of undergraduate and master's programs, and was ranked number one in the Netherlands for business in 2004.
