Hanover College, one of the few colleges in the United States with a student-to-faculty ratio of less than 1:9, was founded in 1827 in Indiana and is a liberal arts college in the United States. The college has been recognized by U.S. News as one of the "Top 100 Best Liberal Arts Colleges" and "Top 50 Best Value Colleges" and was ranked 113th in the 2015 list of U.S. liberal arts colleges.
