Korea Central University

Korea Central University (중앙대학교 / Chuo University) is a prestigious private university founded on April 1, 1918 in South Korea. Currently, Jungang University is ranked 11th in Korea in terms of overall competitiveness (2015), with the departments of Journalism, Theater, Film, and Photography being the most prestigious, and ranked first in Korea among universities in the same field of study. Among them, the Department of Drama and Film and the Graduate School of Advanced Imaging are the highest research centers for drama, performance, and film arts in Korea.
