GRE (Graduate Record Examination; Chinese name: U.S. Graduate Record Entrance Examination) is an important basis for applying for admission and scholarships to various graduate schools of universities around the world (except for management schools and law schools), sponsored by the U.S. Educational Testing Service (ETS) in 1937 at Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Princeton and other four universities for the first time. It is worth noting that the LSAT test and the GMAT test are used in place of the GRE general test for applications to graduate schools of law or business, respectively.
