The Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University of Denmark, founded in 1858 and incorporated into the University of Copenhagen in January 2007 as the University of Copenhagen Faculty of Life Sciences, offers undergraduate and postgraduate professional programs, as well as summer training courses and online courses in Danish and English, with 11 departments, including the Department of Basic Animal and Veterinary Sciences, the Department of Veterinary Disease Biology, and the Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences.
