Paul Scheer Institute

Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI; Paul Scherrer Institut) is a world-renowned Swiss research institute dedicated to the fields of natural sciences and engineering sciences, and is a member of the Union of Swiss Comprehensive Polytechnic Schools (UCPPS), which was formed in 1988 by the merger of the former Swiss Atomic Nuclear Research Institute (SANRI) and the Swiss Federal Institute for Reactors (SFRI). Its research includes the fields of medicine, physics, materials science, life sciences, and nuclear and non-nuclear energy.
