University of Bamberg

The University of Bamberg (German: Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg, English: University of Bamberg) is a historic university in Germany, whose founding dates back to the establishment of Academia Ottoniana in 1647, and the integration of the educational institutions in 1972 as the "Gesamthochschule" in 1972, and officially became Bamberg University in 1988. The University of Bamberg conducts teaching and research in theology, language and literature, philosophy, psychology, history and economics.
