This is the website of the Ministry of Culture and Education of Paraguay, in Spanish, which provides information on institutional profiles, educational policies, educational news, scholarships and educational publications. Since 1990, the Government of Paraguay has implemented the National Education Development Plan, which has made nine years of education compulsory and has organized literacy campaigns. The site provides a convenient means of popularizing education and promoting literacy in Paraguay.
