Eindhoven University of Technology (Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, Eindhoven University of Technology) is a public university in the Netherlands, located in Eindhoven, was founded in 1956, originally for the Eindhoven Technical School, is the second polytechnic university in the Netherlands. Eindhoven University of Technology has set up faculties of electromechanical engineering, industrial design, architecture and urban planning, and chemical engineering.
