British National Museum

The British Museum (British Museum; also known as: British National Museum, Britannia Museum) is the world's oldest and grandest museum, with the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the United States and the Louvre in France and known as the world's three major museums. The British Museum was founded in 1753, January 15, 1759 officially opened to the public. The collection of treasures in the museum is mainly from the British plundered from the 18th to 19th century wars, the main victims of Greece, Egypt and China and so on.
