University of Tulsa

The University of Tulsa (University of Tulsa) is a private, comprehensive institution located in Tulsa, Oklahoma (Tulsa, OK), founded in 1894, with more than 4,000 students. The city of Tulsa is known as the "Oil Capital" of the world, which largely contributes to the school's nationally ranked petroleum engineering program. In the 2014 USNEWS Comprehensive Rankings of Universities in the United States, it is ranked 86th, along with the State University of New York College of Environment and Forestry, the University of Alabama, the University of California, Santa Cruz, and the University of Colorado, Boulder.
