University of Strathclyde

The University of Strathclyde is a Scottish university founded in 1796 as Glasgow's second university, and in 1964 accepted the Royal Charter to become the UK's first university of science and technology. The University of Strathclyde has departments of engineering, science, humanities and social sciences, and the Strathclyde Business School. The University of Strathclyde was ranked 42nd in the 2014 Times UK University Rankings.
