Seoul National University (formerly known as Seoul National University) is Korea's No. 1 overall ranking, Asia's top institution of higher learning, and Korea's oldest national comprehensive university, formerly known as the old Kyungsung Imperial University, which was renamed Seoul National University in 1946. The current Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon, and a number of South Korean presidents were born at Seoul National University.
