World Society for the Protection of Animals

World Animal Protection (World Animal Protection, formerly the World Society for the Protection of Animals, WSPA) is an international animal protection organization, formed in 1981 by the merger of the World Federation for the Protection of Animals (WFPA) and the International Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ISPA). The organization is headquartered in London.
