University of Southampton

University of Southampton (University of Southampton), the world's top 100 universities, the British Ivy League Russell University Group members, members of the World University Alliance. Founded in 1862, the predecessor was Hartley College, which was formally authorized by the Royal Commission on the Status of Women to become a university in 1952. In 1996, it was incorporated into the Winchester School of Art, one of the most prestigious art schools in the United Kingdom.
