University of Southampton

The University of Southampton (University of Southampton) is a public university in the United Kingdom, its history can be traced back to the founding of the Hartley College in 1862, in 1952 to obtain the Royal Charter, formally obtained the qualification of the University, is now a member of the Russell Group of universities. The University of Southampton is very strong in teaching and research in science and technology subjects, especially electronics and computer science. The University of Southampton was ranked 20th in the 2014 Times UK University Composite Rankings.
