US Department of Energy (DOE)

The U.S. Department of Energy (United States Department of Energy) is a U.S. federal government agency established in 1977, and is primarily responsible for energy policy development, energy-related technology research and development, weapons development, etc. It has numerous laboratories under its purview, including the Argonne National Laboratory, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory.
