The U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (National Transportation Safety Board, abbreviated as NTSB) is a U.S. government investigative agency, founded in 1967, headquartered in Washington, D.C. It is mainly responsible for the investigation of civil transportation accidents, including aviation accidents, as well as some marine accidents, railroad accidents, pipeline accidents and so on. Up to now, the NTSB has issued more than 10,000 safety recommendations, of which more than 70% recommendations have been adopted or partially adopted by relevant agencies.
