FOX (Fox Broadcasting Corporation), based in Los Angeles, USA. FOX Broadcasting Corporation, headquartered in Los Angeles, consists of six television stations purchased by Rupert Murdoch, a former Australian newspaper owner, in 1986, and a network of 105 independent television stations. The company's programming began with movies and entertainment programs, but in 1990 it began operating news programs and moving into the cable television industry. Fox News has been launched and is distributed through the cable system. It is now the number one news channel in the United States.
