The University of Mannheim (Universität Mannheim) is a renowned university in Germany, which originated in 1763 and changed its name to the present one in 1967. Its main faculties include the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Mathematical Informatics, the Faculty of Law and National Economics, the Faculty of Philosophy, and the Faculty of Business Administration, of which the Faculties of Business Economics (Management) and National Economics (Economics) ranked No. 1 in the whole of Germany. Its business school is the only business school in Germany that has been accredited by the world's three most prestigious accreditation organizations, AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS.
