École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (abbreviated EPFL) is a globally renowned university founded in 1853 in Lausanne, Switzerland, with the aim of training engineers and scientists. The university offers faculties of architecture, engineering, computer and communication sciences, and life sciences.
